Our Classroom Economy
Our classroom is excited use the Classroom Economy system with Class Dojo Dollars as part of our learning experience to promote responsibility and teamwork. This system helps students to develop life skills while having fun! Classroom Economy is a hands-on approach to teach financial concepts and more importantly responsibility. Each student has the opportunity to earn Class Dojo Dollars (and points) through positive behaviors, completing their "jobs", participating in activities and demonstrating good citizenship. These Dojo Dollars will serve as our classroom currency, allowing students to make purchases and save. Students will have to also pay "rent" and "taxes" so managing their resources carefully will be another attribute to learn. Classroom Economy will provide students with valuable lessons!
